Dutch born Ronald Rens lives and works at Chateau Coulon Laurensac near Bordeaux in France. Ronald is a passionate Bordeaux collector, a seasoned wine educator and a published wine writer. His articles on Bordeaux have appeared in magazines all over the world. Ronald has been organizing and conducting wine tastings for over 30 years. As Editor-in-Chief of the Bordeaux Wine Magazine he had the pleasure of seeing this publication grow from a simple newsletter with 350 subscribers into a full magazine with today almost 20.000 subscribers. Since it’s founding in January 2006, this magazine has remained true to its original mission: to educate and entertain readers about Bordeaux in the most accessible and user-friendly way.

In recognition for the many years of his involvement in the Bordeaux wine world Ronald has been asked to join the ranks of the three Bordeaux’s most famous wine brotherhoods: the Jurade of Saint Emilion as well as the Hospitaliers of Pomerol and the Commanderie du Bontemps de Médoc et des Graves, de Sauternes et Barsac.
Ronald is also the President of the Bordeaux Wine Experience, a company that specializes in luxury wine and culinary tours in the Bordeaux region and is generally considered as the leading Bordeaux wine tour company.
