Chateau Palmer, 3ème Grand Cru Classé, Margaux, Bordeaux, 2016 Tasting notes

Chateau Palmer (19,5+ points)

[47% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot]

Deep concentrated color, bordering to black. Spectacular ripe fruit on the nose. Beautifully concentrated wine with superb silky tannins. Both round and long with an impeccably ripe, almost overwhelming expression of fruit. The elegance and length of a great Palmer. This wine is simply beautiful and despite its long future I want to drink it already.
