Starting in 2026, Michael and Maud will lead the Bordeaux Wine Experience, continuing the legacy built with passion and care since 2003.
From Neighbors to Successors
In 2023, Michael and Maud moved into the château next door to founders Ronald and Margaret.
Over many shared glasses of Bordeaux, a vision for the future emerged.
Rooted in Wine and Tradition
Michael, originally from the U.S., spent summers on his family’s vineyard in Southern France.
Wine was more than a business — it was tradition, storytelling, and life around the table.
In 2008, while studying winemaking at the University of Wine in Suze-la-Rousse, he met his future wife Maud.
Michael and Maud: Continuing the Legacy
Maud’s French Heritage
Born in France, Maud balanced life between Paris and the South.
She managed an art gallery and worked in her family’s restaurant.
Wine and hospitality were always close to her heart.
Returning to What Matters
In April 2024, Michael and Maud settled in Bordeaux to pursue a life rooted in wine, food, and culture.
They will spend 2025 learning side by side with Ronald and Margaret.
Continuing the Legacy
From 2026 onward, Michael and Maud will guide the Bordeaux Wine Experience with the same warmth, dedication, and love for the region.
