Rooted in Wine and Tradition
American-born Michael spent his summers in the South of France on his family’s vineyard, where he developed a deep appreciation for the way wine, food, friendship, family, and history intertwine. The vineyard was more than a business; it was a way of life, rich with tradition, storytelling, and shared moments around the table.
Meeting his Future Wife through Wine
After completing university in the United States in 2005, Michael returned to France to deepen his knowledge of winemaking. In 2008, he attended the University of Wine at Suze-la-Rousse to contribute to the family vineyard as Estate Director, and to reconnect with the culture, cuisine, and wine that had shaped him.
It was there that he met Maud, sparking a connection grounded in shared passion.
A Shared Passion for Wine and Tradition
French-born Maud split her time between Paris and the South, managing her art gallery while helping out at her family’s restaurant. Their mutual love of wine, food, and tradition brought them together, and soon Maud became deeply involved in the vineyard as well.

Michael just loves to make your Bordeaux Wine Experience unforgettable
After several years working side by side, they set out to explore the world in 2012. Over 12 years of travel, they eventually landed in the United States, where they started their family, Margaux in 2018 and James in 2020, and pursued careers in Life Sciences and Aerospace & Defense.
Yet, no matter how far they roamed, the essence of wine, food, friendship, and family never left them.
The Draw of Wine and Quality of Life
In April 2024, they returned to France, drawn back by the timeless connection that had always guided them: wine, food, friendship, family, and history.
Today, Michael and Maud are thrilled to welcome guests from around the world to explore, taste, and savor the unforgettable Bordeaux Wine Experience. Sharing their love for wine and the joy of hosting is at the heart of everything they do… inviting you to experience the same warmth, passion, and connection that has guided their lives.
